Te Ara Tika

A. Enzo Ferrari. A man called Dino helped him make his Ferrari. He made the Ferrari called the Dino when he died for honer.

About Guy Fawkes

Today is Guy Fawkes Day. Today was the death of Guy Fawkes by being hanged as a punishment for blowing up the house of Parliament from gunpowder at Thames London. Some people put on some fireworks at night on that day. But this year it is cancelled. The fireworks sounds like someone is working around the house with a hammer. But actually I'm amazed with the fireworks when I look out my window. You may have seen that Hell Pizza was selling fireworks. And you may have seen their ad too. Here are some question's What do you think about him? Do you think he is helpful?  Why did he tried to blow up the house of parliament? Did he invent fireworks? Why was he hanged as a punishment?  All the answers to all of the question's will be here soon.

The Upbeat Glee Club

Last Wednesday I joined the Glee club. We Do it At the Rumpus room. But this week I will be going to the recording studio. I'm quite exited to go there to see what it is like. I went to the Rumpus Room for my birthday party. Then Helen said to me "You should join the Upbeat Glee Club." So I did. Helen works at the Rumpus Room. I may write my recording experience in my diary. It could be a bit like my voice talking and recording funny stuff. The Glee Club is you can sing, smile, and dance. I heard in the paper I saw that the Glee Club are making a dance for Katy Perry. We're dancing to her song called Dark Horse for her tour in New Zealand at Auckland in December. We're not sure what we are doing to show her it. And we may show it at The Christmas At The Bowl. At the Recording Studio it was quite little. The little room where we sing it was quite fancy. There were 2 lights there but I could still see because of the light outside. The Recording Studio it was amazing. I should go there again sometime.

My birthday party

I went to the Rumpus Room for me and my sister's birthday party. The staff were very nice. And I saw Mrs Cribb's Twin sister's daughter Grace. She was very funny. We played loads of  cool games. After that we got the birthday cake. We turned the lights out to see the candles light up in the room. I blew out my candles and then Jasmine did her's. We had a play and then we came in our room again to open up our presents. My friends gave me an Elmo toy and some toy cars and car stickers. I loved the Rumpus Room!!! Have you been there?

Flynn's Birthday

I had a great birthday At 5:25 AM to check the time I was happy. Because it was my.... BIRTHDAY!!!! My sister Jasmine woke up and said Happy birthday to me, so I gave her a big hug.

When Mum and Dad woke up we started wrapping the presents. I got a Krash Magazine, A Minecraft paper set of monsters, A Geronimo Stilton Book And my Nana and Jimbo gave me a sweatshirt and some socks.

I had a great birthday!!!! And I turned 11!!

We got photos, music and videos to Windows live movie maker. But there was a problem. We used a converter saying WMV but it didn't work. so we tried Zanzar. And it worked. Stan is my instructor. I did a new thing called Towing. If I move on a next lane today my head will be under water. {Which is not cool for me.} Awe swimming is teaching year 6 student's how to swim. I was nervus at the start. But I can do it now. I went on a life jacket. I can't have the photo because I can't paste it.

Riding Buddy the horse myself

At horse riding i went on Buddy all by myself. Even the outside. Merrel said " You did very well Flynn." I feel like I'm a expert horse rider. Maybe when i grow up i may will buy a horse with my pocket money. And i will feed,ride and look after my horse.

Gymnactics

Today i went to gymnastics. There were no people by the minute. then 4 people came. On the swing Uncle Michel holded the scarves and i tried to catch it with my hand. then he drooped them on the floor and i tried to catch with my hands and feet. then we did a song. after that it was pretty hot in the car so i put my window down.
